2021 GRAD Student Updates!

It's already fall! Can you believe it? Our students have been busy and here are just a few of the things they've been doing.
Grayson worked as an IT Intern with New City Fellowship Church building a computer lab and updating computers around the church. During the fall, Grayson has since been employed with Belvedere Plantation. Open Hand staff went to visit him during the Fall Festival!
Jarren worked as a kitchen associate at Sonic of Fredericksburg. After the summer, Sonic decided to bring Jarren on as a part-time employee. In addition to playing football for Massaponax High School, Jarren is currently applying to colleges after his graduation next year.
Jordan worked as an IT Intern at Salem Fields Community Church. After the summer, Jordan remains very active in his high school. He has joined the Black Student Union and was recently elected second Vice President of the Fredericksburg Alumni Chapter Kappa League. Additionally, Jordan has secured part time employment as a front end clerk at Publix Grocery Store.
Dejah worked as the Program Manager Intern at New City Fellowship Church. After the summer, she returned to college and continued to stay busy. She currently is the BSU (Black Student Union) President and continues to make strides in track. Additionally, she sings in her church choir on campus.
